HOW DO YOU USE THIS WEBSITE AS PROFESSIONAL?

In order to create a code for patient with one or more STIs, you must be registered on the website. This registration process consists of two steps: you provide your details, and an administrator approves your application. After this approval, you are registered and can generate codes.

During the pilot phase, only doctors working in an AIDS reference center (ARC) can generate codes. If you are not affiliated with an ARC, but interested in working together? Leave your details.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE CODES

Codes are generated per patient. You should provide some information about your patient (age, sex, gender of the sexual partners), and which STIs were diagnosed.

If you have generated a code, you can either print a form with the code for the patient or simply send the code to the patient's e-mail address (an example of the code and accompanying information for the patient). The code remains valid for 10 days, and a maximum of 20 notifications can be sent per code.

The patient who was diagnosed with an STI can send notifications to his or her sexual partners using the code. The notifications are sent completely anonymously: no data is stored, neither about the sender nor about the recipient. Notifications sent with this code (a sample notification) contain detailed information about the specific STI, as well as the next steps in the proces of testing and treatment.
